No point in having goals, if you can’t track or measure your progress, whether you’ve attained it or not, right? A goal has to be Actionable . “I will increase my knowledge about business” is a great aspiration but is it actionable? To turn it into a goal, something like “I will read two good business books in the next 3 months” would be more actionable, more specific, and measurable. Goals that are Realistic are more likely to be attainable. Some people like to say, “If you aim for the stars, at least you might hit the moon”. You can call this a fallacy.
